It’s been over a month since I’ve had bacon, and I’ve missed it dearly.  Actually the whole time I’ve been in Alaska, my main source of protein has been salmon, bratwurst and salami.  So this week I spoiled myself and bought some Black Label thick cut bacon.  Yum.  Perhaps I enjoyed it too much.  Next up I’m going to get some real meat, you know something I can cut up and chew up myself, oh and maybe even gnaw on the bone, all primitive style.
